Mousegear Bracelet (vent)

Last summer, I purchased a $330 David Yurman bracelet at MouseGear, Sterling Silver. It's a very unique item and I get a lot of compliments on it, but the clasp broke within 4 months (had it repaired at a local Jewelry store) and now the safety to the clasp broke off

The item is no longer available after I called to inquire about an exchange (which they won't make after a repair anyway). I just want to give everyone a warning to maybe not consider making such a large purchase of a delicate (Sterling Silver) item if after only a few months it's broken twice. I am upset because I feel an item of this cost should be of much better quality, and I won't ever be purchasing anything of that value in WDW any longer.

Can you contact the David Yurman company? They should be able to repair for a fee or free for you.
I bought a Dooney & Burke bag at WoD when they first came out and after only a few months the zipper broke.
I went to our local D&B store and at first they told me they couldn't do anything about it cause I didn't buy it there...I talked to a manager and was like "yo. I spent hundreds of dollars on this bag and have only used it a handful of times in the past couple of months and you're not going to stand behind your product?" etc.

Needless to say, I got it fixed. I can't remember if I had to pay for it or not, but I know luxury goods usually can be repaired if you contact the company.
Fendi bags have a similiar policy too I know.

Actually I think they replaced it...hard to remember now, it's been a few years...

If I were you I would definitely contact David Yurman directly.

I think your vent should be with David Yurman, since his company actually made the bracelet - Disney just sold it.

I have purchased multiple high dollar jewelry items and purses - made by different companies and sold at Disney. I know the quality of these items is only as good as that of the company that produced them. So far, I have been very pleased.

With that said, I have a couple of David Yurman items and the quality has been outstanding, but there are always exceptions!
