MouseFest MVMCP on Dec 9th???? Crowds???

I just read a post that Mousefest will be at the MVMCP on
Dec 9th......

I picked a weekday thinking it wasn't going to be packed. With mousefest being there....do you think it's gonna be?

I have planned MK that day too, what is mousefest?

I answered my own ? lol! Looks like the gathering will be at EPCOT that day, so hopefully MK will not be crowded.

Ooops I take that back they are at the party that night. Well in the past times were have been at partys the crowds have been light to slightly heavy, BUT nothing like a Sat at the MK during reg. hours, so I'm sure it will be fine. Another thing is the crowds really die down after about 10pm, we had all walk-ons after 10pm. No matter what it will be a blast!

We'll be at MVMCP on the 9th too. I think there are several activities going on that day for MouseFest. Hopefully it won't be too bad....Deb's site has the whole itenerary.

Don't lose any sleep over Mousefest. At best, they may get 100 people. I'm sure you know that that figure in the overall scheme of a MVMCP is hardly a blip in the park attendence.

I wouldn't worry about Mousefest causing a crowd. The largest group at the Mega-Mouse Meet on a Saturday afternoon at the Dolphin Resort was 300 Disney loving individuals and families.

Most of the people that are going to Mousefest don't go to every single Mousefest meet.

The nice thing about it is that you chose those meets that you would like to go to.

There may only be a 100 people from Mousefest there that night. Probably more people from the DIS will be there based on Zurgswife's December attendees.

But most of these people may be in groups of two to six and meeting at Liberty Tree Tavern before the official openning of MVMCP from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M..

Then many of them may go on their on way.

There is one specific time and place that night that many Mousefest and DISers will be. At about 15 minutes before the Wishes fireworks, Mousefest has a meet in the Rose Garden to watch the fireworks, and to hand out the Mousefest schedule of events that week.

The rose garden is to the right, front of the castle. There is a sidewalk that goes through it.

This will probably be very crowded since it is a five foot wide, iron fence surrounded, walkway.

Very secluded. And most people don't even go that way except at a short cut.

So 100 Mousefest people out of a possible 20,000 people in the Magic Kingdom less your family is less than one half of one percent.

So look out for that one half of one percent of the crowd...lol.

If you have time and you would like visit many of the Disney Webmasters and Disney Authurs in person, come to the December 11, 2004 Mega-Mouse Meet from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Dolphin Resort.

I had no idea how small or large Mousefest was...which was part of my concern. I imagined busses upon busses of people getting off.....

Just trying to plan accordingly....
