Mousefest 2006, Dec 3-11, who will be there?

I have attended various portions of the Mousefest Gatherings the past three years. Lots of Disney 'nuts', getting together for a few days, scheduled/unscheduled meets, just a lot of fun.

There is a cruise portion, 12/3-12/7, and the WDW portion, 12/7-12/11. I never do the cruise part, only the WDW land part. Many of the Internet's Disney sites will be represented there, like a who's who of Disney sites. For me, most often, I have attended several of the scheduled meets, the Mega Mouse Meet (held on Saturday, 12/9, at the Dolphin) and then just enjoy meeting up with lots of folks from the DIS and other sites over the days I am there. And, it's free.

Hi Dan,

I expect we will be there, but we may have to make a trip north - UGH!!! During Mousefest, no less! Not my idea of good scheduling! Unfortunately, the rest of the family that lives up north has other ideas. I'll have to see how things work out. Nothing is definite yet.

I'll be there, I've been planning this for a long while. I'll be at the mega meet, the dole whip and several others too. I'm so excited this is my first one. Hope to meet lots of the dis board members.

Now that I'm not working at The Disney Store, I'm back to visiting my mom in FL at Thanksgiving and going to WDW the week after. I'll fly home on Dec. 4th, so will miss the MouseFest crowd this year.

It looks like, after visiting WDW in early December for five years in a row, that I won't be able to make the trip this year. It seems that my wife thinks that paying college tuition is more important that letting me go off to Florida on my own for a week to party with the Disney nuts. Go figure.

I'll be there Dan!!! We'll miss you John, it just won't be the same without you!! I just got my MouseFest sweatshirt today. I refuse to have to run around, freezing my butt off, trying to find the 'perfect' sweatshirt for MVMCP on the 7th. This year....I'll be prepared!!! See you all there!

I just got the ok from my boss that I'll be able to take my vacation then and catch the land part of Mousefest! I'll be solo on my trip but then again with other Disney fans, you are never alone. Now I'm hoping for some great AP rates.

Not this year, but I've already got it on my calendar for next year! Glad to hear the positive report from another DISer. Maybe I'll see ya there next year. Seems like THE time for a solo visit.

I might be there (4th year in a row), but nothing booked yet. My very young AP thinks it will be there . Mom and I are talking like it, and maybe DH and more. . .

I AM SO EXCITED... I'll BE at WDW too..

I was told yesterday that I am going to a conference in Orlando from Dec 11- 13th. So I had decided to spend the weekend before at WDW and was going to ask on the single/adult board if anyone else is going to be there at that time to meet up and lo and behold it is MOUSEFEST... my first Mousefest!!!

going solo so if anyone wants to meet and do coasters and such let me know..
