My 6th grader had to write a J. Peterman style catalog entry for her favorite article of clothing in English yesterday. She chose her princess Mickey Mouse ears. I just had to share it with the Dis because I knew you guys would get it:

"Royalty

You face a gorgeous rainbow castle. The sky explodes with fireworks designed just for you. A luxurious, silky smooth treat sits on the end of a chocolate wand. Your prince turns to you and asks, “Churro?”

Pink Mouse Ear Hat (No. 0625) with elegant diamond tiara. Gorgeous glittery long veil. Snow White stretchable strap. Personalization available.
Women’s sizes: one size fits most
Color: Pink"

I just love that in this stage of her life, she still loves Disney.

I had to look up the J. Peterman catalog to see what other quirky entries there were since I've never heard of them. Spent at least 10 minutes reading weird descriptions, haha :D. I'm glad she still loves Disney too :)

I thought it was just a fictitious company on Seinfeld. Crazy, it really exists.

That's fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

My favorite part is: "A luxurious, silky smooth treat sits on the end of a chocolate wand."

I want a chocolate wand with a silky smooth treat. :)

I thought it was just a fictitious company on Seinfeld. Crazy, it really exists.

For a long time I also thought it was just some company where Elaine worked, but then a few years ago found out there was a real company by that name. That was one of my favorite episodes, too!

It is so cute that was an assignment. Very adorable response! (And very good!).

What a great assignment, and what a fantastic description your daughter wrote! :wizard:

I, too, thought J. Peterman was made up by Seinfeld until the girl came home with the assignment.

The silky smooth treat on the end of a chocolate wand is supposed to be a Mickey ice cream, but she couldn't figure out how to make it a stick sound luxurious. So, we all bantered different ideas, and someone said a wand, and she said came up with chocolate wand (like in Wizarding World of Harry Potter).

I like the Snow White stretchable strap part. I never heard elastic sound so plush.

By the way, the item number is the date of her first trip to Disneyland, June 25.
