mountains, ocean or woods - what is summer to you?

To me it's all three. We have a hotel reserved near the ocean mid July. A cabin at a campground end of Aug and a cabin near the White Mountains in NH start of the summer.
(And of course we're planning a week on the ocean in Nov.)
I better keep my job.

None. I live at the foot of a mountain, I have plenty of woods around me and I haven't been to the ocean in about 25 years or so.

Summer to me is plenty of sunshine.

We live in a resort town and we do sometimes go to the beach.

Hmmm, that is a toughy. I am surrounded by woods and mountains. In the summer the woods have ticks so I am not inclined to go in them. But so does my back yard! We go to the mountains year round since they are right here too. Also now that our children are grown we go to the beach three times a year but only in the spring and fall. Sooo whem I think of summer I think of garden time!!!! But of the three you gave us I would say OCEAN!!!!! Boots loves the beach!!!

Ocean!

Palm trees, sun, beach, seagulls, seashells, boardwalk with the sights and sounds of people, rides and food. Ahhhhhhh! I love it!

This summer, I would have to say dessert/mountains as we are headin' west with the family to Nevada!!


Our backyard is woods so that's year round and we've only flown over part of the Atlantic when flying to WDW one summer.
