Mountain home rental

We are thinking of renting a house in either Georgia or North Carolina for Christmas. Can anyone recommend a site? TIA

We've used A-1 vacation rentals for the Helen, GA area. Little Bavarian style touristy mountain village located about an hour and a half outside of Atlanta.

We spent a week at a fantastic cabin in Black Mountain (near Asheville, NC) last month. We found it on vrbo.com, or home away, I can find the specific link if you're interested. I found that rates were more affordable on those sites than the management agencies... I also didn't want something in a neighborhood which is sometimes more difficult with the agencies. You can look at the reviews and feel pretty comfortable with what you get.

We used vrbo.com and rented a great cabin located on a mountainside in Maggie Valley, NC. Such a beautiful area and close to so much to see and do.

This is the one my brother rented about a year ago. Clayton Georgia, on Screamer mtn. He loved it! It was gorgeous.
