I wanted to share my experience with a group I traveled with on May 10th. We had an individual who needed a riding wheelchair, but he could not come with us to downtown disney. Why if a standard wheelchair that is 1/3 the cost of a riding chair can enter, why cant the other type enter?

I don't understand what you are saying.

You can bring a power wheelchair or ECV to Downtown Disney, so I'm not sure what you mean by saying he could not enter.

I don't understand either.

DTD is handicapped accessible and so are the buses. There are no restrictions based on the type of chair (except it needs to fit in the restraint area on a bus). If a manual chair has access, so does a power chair or ECV.

You need to post a few more details.
