Hi! Each time I went to DW I had my manual chair, so i don't if you can fit motorised chairs on the rides. Also, Is there a way I could get on killomanajo Safaris with a motorised chair? I thought I would need to step down into it to ride. I can't do that very well. Is there a ramp to fill in any of the gaps?

Thanks,

Ashley

Since a power chair has the same "footprint" as a regular wheelchair there should be nbo problem.

For the safari, when you get toward the very front of the queue anyone with a wc/pc/ecv (and their party) will be shunted off to the right to a special boarding area. If you cannot transfer there is a ramp to a special seating area directly behind the driver. I'm not sure if it will take one or two chairs, and whether or not their are tiedowns, but I do know that it is accessible for chairs.

All the rides that are accessible to a manual chair are accessible to a power chair. You can drive a power chair onto the Kilimanjaro Safari ride vehicle. There are tie downs. One chair per vehicle. (info from my trip in 2002)

Actually not true. Alot of powerchairs won't fit on alladin. and I think some people with alot of added things like vents can't fit on Buzz but others have.
What I would do is go ahead and try it, If you don't fit oh well and if you do enjoy it.

Agreed. My DDs' power chairs will not fit on Aladdin--not because of the size of the chairs but because of the way the batteries hang underneath the chairs.

They had no problem with Buzz (they have fairly small power chairs--16" seat width...not sure if a chair that is especially long/deep would fit).

They *are* able to get on the safari vehicle, the Jungle Cruise, Small World, the MK train, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Listen to the Land tour, and the boat ride in Mexico without getting out of their chairs. Haven't tried the Pooh ride.

Pooh is fine. It seems that some of the rides that have the turntable i.e. figment you might have a problem with longer chairs.
