Motivational stories

Does anyone know of a website or book that has daily inspirational/motivational stories? Better yet a daily e-mail list?

I am not looking for devotions.

I like the Heroic Stories list. Some of them are religious in nature, but most are just about good people doing, well, good, helping each other out. Heroes don't have to be superman...they just have to be there and willing to lend a hand.
