Motion sickness on Forbidden Journey?

How long is this ride?? We didn't get to ride it this past trip because the line was super long. But for the future it would be nice to know.. :thumbsup2

I kind of suffer from motion sickness..i used to get it a lot as a kid, not so much now as an adult.

Star Tours didn't bother me so much..I rode it 3 times! :goodvibes There were a few times I had to look over at C3PO haha!

Soarin doesn't bother me at all

The Simpsons Ride at Universal. OH MY GOSH. NEVER AGAIN. The start of the ride wasn't so bad..just felt like you were on a roller coaster, then you started falling around off the track..oh god..i did not feel well after that ride...

So now i'm curious about FJ..the simpsons ride I ended up doing with my eyes closed...so I was fine lol, but it felt like the longest ride in the world..

How does FJ compare to the Simpsons and Star Tours?

How long is this ride??

I think it is 4:30 to 5:00 minutes. It goes by pretty fast when all goes well, but the last one or two minutes of my last ride seemed longer than the entire ride had before. For me the difference between FJ and the Simpson's ride is almost as great as between Star Tours and the Simpsons.

Count me as another person who has problems with the video aspect of it. I can get through it after eating a bit a ginger though. Last time I tried w/o ginger and ended up closing my eyes for the last 1 or 2 minutes. On my first ride, I had them open less than DD did. I seemed to do okay watching the screen for a little bit, but had to close them for most of the screens between the first and last. We have gone the last 4 summers and each time DD opened her eyes for more of the ride (the whole time last summer). She watched a ride through on youtube, I believe, and knew when the "scary" parts were coming up.

I can't do Star Tours. It will make me sick for the whole day. Simpsons is easier for me and with FJ, if i feel myself getting sick, I close my eyes.

I always take a meclizine in the morning though. No matter what park I am going to.

i have ridden this 3 times and do not normally get motion sickness but each timenear the end i get really ill yet ok with mummy soarin yeti etc
