Mother's Day Perks and Crowds?

I remember reading in the past about Mother's Day perks at the parks. I think mother's got a carnation upon entering Epcot. What should I know about Mother's Day in the parks? Are the crowds high?

When I was at WDW 2 years ago over that weekend, I didn't think the crowds were too bad. And yes, I did receive a carnation at Epcot - it was a nice touch.

Planning to be there again this year for MD weekend!!!

We were there last year on Mother's Day and crowds were quite manageable---even though it was the first weekend of the HCOE and Soarin' had just opened three days earlier!
