Mother's Day Brunch

Its held at the Disneyland hotel. Its $57 per adult and $14.50 for children 3-11. That is about all the details they offer in the ap news letter. For that price it better be good!

I think there a couple of Dis-ers that have been to it before. Maybe one of them will comment.

We didn't eat at it, but we did check it out a couple of years ago while we were there (we had Mother's Day brunch at Goofy's). I know there were some characters there - we saw Cinderella and another couple of princesses as we walked by. I think the food was a little bit stepped up from Goofy's brunch with prime rib and a few other foods. But overall, it didn't appeal to us for the $20-$30 upcharge.

Ive done it twice...dont know about now but both times I went it was a Princess buffet...each corner of the room had props from each one of the princesses...for example...Cinderella backdrop was the castle with winding staircase and one glass slipper on it....the food is awesome...they serve everything you can possibly think of and all the princesses come around and sign books and take pictures like in the character meals...I loved it but It was pretty expensive..if I can remember correctly it was about $50 plus but the food was really good...they serve standard breakfast fare but also specialty items like peel your own shrimp, crab legs, bagels with cream cheese, lox, tomatoes and capers, carving stations with ham, Prime Rib etc...things like that...they also have really delectible pastries and such...if your going to be there and are considering going to the brunch I would highly recommend it...they also give you special commemorative buttons marking the day and year...its great

A little bit stepped up from Goofy's kitchen? Until they start serving shrimp and crab legs, crepe-and-ice cream stations, and about 20 times the variety of food items at Goofy's kitchen, I don't think that restaurant is anywhere in this league. These brunches are only held twice a year, I believe, and if you can afford it, it is a must-do.
