Mother's Day Brunch at Epcot

Anyone been? How was it? I looked at reviews on all ears but there are only 4 and they are from 2005/2006.

We atteneded this event, but it was back in 2005 as well. I will say that we highly enjoyed ourselves. All the characters that were present were geared towards Mom - Mickey in his tuxedo, Prince Charming, Prince Eric, Hercules and the Fairy Godmother was outside when we left. The food was fantastic! More choices that I have ever seen at any Disney Buffet. Of course it's more expensive than any other buffet, but it's a special day for Mom.

I went in 05 as well.

I was quite DELUXE can't remeber the exact cost then...but I know it was $$$, but well WORTH it IMHO. they had a red carpet down as you walked into the building...characters greeting you (the princes, Hercules) in a nice waiting area, a few chairs, benches and an open "bar" I think where you get a drink. We didn't wait too too long, but we were a big group 13 people. Once inside the place was huge, with many tables, drappings on the walls, so many options of food it was crazy. Breakfast thru dinner basically and lots of desserts.

If you're looking for a special way to celebrate Mom's Day, what a better way then at Disney. Excellent!

It'll always be mother/daughter trips for us. I'm a single mom and I have absolutely no plans of finding a suitable mate anytime soon.

I figure I can stuff myself silly for one day. My ex doesn't get the concept of buying me anything for Mother's Day, so it's up to me and DD to make the best of it

Oh, ETA: She's 5.5 and getting very impatient about the trip!!!

Ditto on all that for us!! Well except son instead of daughter, and he's 4.5 (And, I still make sure DS gets him something for Father's Day - more for DS's sake than ex's)

11:50. It really works out well with our plans for the day... FW in the morning, then DS can sleep in the (non-rented, lol) stroller while I wander around WS. What time are you?

I really want to go to the Mother's Day Brunch, but when my DH called they told him that it was outside where you would be eating. Do you eat outside? I just can't belive that in May they would make you eat outside. I am going to have DH call again about that.
