Mother's Day At The Parks

Is there usually anything special done on Mother's Day at any of the parks?

I want to say in the past they have given out a flower or something to mothers. They don’t do anything big that’s for sure.

Until they run out they'll give a flower out to mother's.

It will be our first day of our trip and we were planing on going to one of the parks in the evening. Depending on if a certain park did something special would determine where we will go.

Epcot used to do special photos for Mother’s Day years ago they long since stopped

Two years ago, I got a flower....a carnation, I think.

I've been several times on Mother's Day. They give carnations to moms and the CMs say "Happy Mother's Day" so often it actually becomes annoying - but it is very sweet!

I was there Mother's Day a couple of years ago. We are staying at AK and they gave mother's a tiara, which I proudly wore but other than that I didn't get anything. We didn't arrive until around 2 and weren't in the park until later so that might be why.

We were there last year on Mother’s Day. We went to HS first and got a flower. I had no desire to carry it around so I “ gifted” it to a little princess and made her very happy. We park hopped a couple times that day and they had flowers at the one we went to late morning but I just said no thanks. I did hear Happy Mother’s Day a lot and we took the time to make extra mother/son pictures.

There used to be a few special Mother's Day meals around (breakfast/brunch), but not sure if those still happen. The one year I was there on Mothers Day (awesome way to spend it!!), I wanted the MD pin (I always buy the holiday or event ones), and was disappointed to find they'd been on sale long before the day and were already sold out all over property. I thought that was ridiculous. But I easily found one on eBay (which shows where they go) for a good price. I also got flowers (a real one and a large crepe paper one) in the parks. It was also a great excuse to make the kids sit for a "nice" pic with mom st the castle
