Motel 6 Anyone???

Hello everybody,
Karen and I being the cheapies that we are, we are looking to stay at very inexpensive locations before our Disney POP Century stay.

We have stayed at the Rodeway Inn on International numerous times and found it to be not great but not a fleabag either. They have since raised their prices and now we booked ourselves for two nights at the new Motel 6 off International. (Great proximity to Universal, as we our doing IOA before hitting WDW)

So I guess my question is, has anyone stayed at that particular Motel 6? Should we be wary or is it a well priced motel at decent quality?

If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated,

I have problems with then management - but I am talking about the 80's before I brought DVC.

I was overcharged and I certainly didn't feel save there. (I was a single female traveling solo).

the overcharged bit - I was guaranteed a price in writing - when I got there suddenly there were extra charges?????

the man's attitude was not nice - not a pleasant experience - I haven't stay at one since then.

have you tried going through the travel agency on this website - I got a deal on the Rodeway Inn with them.

As far as insects and other things - hey my cats loves them - so they aren't a problem - I don't remember him chasing anything in the 80's - but it was new then.
