Other than the listed sites, what is the most unusual or hidden spot to find some of the characters? For us we found goofy at MGM in some small passage walkway by the Honey I Shrunk The Kids site. Nobody was there. He was just standing there waiting for visitors.

we have always seen snowwhite in the walkway between frontierland and adventureland

kilee- That's Goofy's Prop Stop. It was listed in the entertainment guides for a while, but now is not. It's still there though, so if you're looking for Goofy at MGM, that's where he is.

One of the most unexpected character location I've seen include Pluto running around Frontierland one morning before Toontown opened. Not sure how often something like this happens, but it was fun seeing a character just pop out of nowhere again like they did years ago.

What about Donald Duck, we couldn't find him anywhere except in the parades?

We saw Peter Pan & Wendy when we were taking the Train Ride around the Magic Kingdom -- they were standing in a wooded area waving!!! Nice surprise!!!

On our first visit to WDW (1988) we were taking the boat from FW to MK and saw Goofy waterskiing. What a special magical first memory of WDW. Maybe that's when I got hooked.

kilee - although it's not "unusual" I've seen Donald in the Expo Hall at the Entrance to MK.

The most unusual spot I've ever seen a character is Mickey scuba diving in the Living Seas!!

The little area near the Toontown Train Station is also a great place to find characters. It's right next to where the exit is for the Judge's Tent to visit Mickey. Funny thing is, you can't see the characters from far away - you got to walk right up to the area to see them. On my last trip two weeks ago, almost every day we kept periodically checking the area, and on our last day (Friday Jan 17) we found 11 characters there at once! :) My nephew was thrilled!

The rarest characters we saw there two weeks ago were Rebecca Cunningham and Mr. Penguin. :)

This last Dec. we rode Star Tours with Darth Vadar. He walked on the ride and the CM put on his seat belt. All the little and big kids got excited. We got a picture with him after the ride. It was Way Cool.

We saw Alice (from Alice in Wonderland, of course!) wandering through the garden area in the U.K. section of Epcot. This was several years ago and it was one of those somewhat unreal situations because the park was not terribly crowded, we were walking by and glanced over and she was just skipping through the area, all by herself. Not another soul around.

We got her autograph and some great photos!

If you can't find the character you are looking for, check with Guest Relations. Donald is very easy to track down, especially lately.

That being said, the strangest place I ever saw any characters was while I was working at the Haunted Mansion. I was at the loading area one day when out of the stretch-room came Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, and Belle, each with a little girl dressed like her. They went through the loading queue and each pair of princesses rode in their own doom buggy. Very neat, but an odd ride choice, I thought...

Also, Goofy's Prop shop was repainted back in October/November 2002 and reopened as "Santa's Workshop" with props and set pieces from The Santa Clause 2. I'm not sure if it will change back or not.

I really like that darth vader one, that had to be quite the expierence!

i can't remember the name of the building, but on the left hand side just before you exit mk (they sell kodak film inside and you can pick up parcels you've purchased in mk) , we stopped in for a minute on our 1st trip in 2000 and were amazed to find the 7 dwarfs! :D it was so much fun, there was hardly anyone inside and the cm offered to take a picture of our family with a couple of the dwarfs, we were able to get lots of photos...a truly magical moment:D :D

A couple of years ago we got to ride with an Ewok in Star Tours. In December, I had my picture with Clopin inside one of the stores in France. We have also seen Donald in Mexico.
