Most scenic drive from DL to San Diego port?

down the I-5 is pretty scenic.

Get off near Oceanside and take the coast road. It goes through all the beach towns and right along the water. Only bad thing is all the traffic and stop lights.

South of Disney, the I5 and I405 converge. The rest of the drive down does have a lot of coastal views and is pretty scenic. Down around the north bay area of San Diego, you can veer off to the coast road if you want, but it will be a slow pokey ride in a lot of traffic. I think you will still get a lot of scenic bang for the buck just by staying on the freeway.
