Other than resturants and things you have to spend extra $$ on beyond your passes What is the most  romantic :love2: "thing" in WDW? Please share anything you've done, witnessed, heard or want to do.

I think the most romantic thing.....

Find a Dark Corner in Pleasure Island...... there is a little table for two there.
Tell your Girlfriend how much you love her.... and how pretty she looks tonight. :love2:
While doing this, have a Diamond Ring and be playing with it between your fingers... until she spots it.
She will hyperventilate and cry and laugh.... and say "is that what I think it is?" - yes, and engagement ring!

OK.. OK..... I am a little biased..... ;)
That is how We got engaged on April 1st, 1991 (yes 14 yrs ago!). I still remember that little spot fondly and that wonderful night at PI.

The most romantic thing my husband and I do is now a tradition we started on our honeymoon. Mind you, we usually go in Feb. We go eat at the California Grill and then watch Wishes from the catwalk :)

Dance to the exit music for Illuminations, on the terrace overlooking the lagoon, at Italy.

DH & I are partial to strolling hand in hand around World Showcase - mind you, this may be the ONLY place where we still stroll hand in hand (we are not usually big PDA type people) But something comes over us in WS & also around Crescent Lake, where we become like Honeymooners again...... There is something in the air.......

strolling along the torch lit pathways of the polynesian, while wishes is going on in the background.

just standing there holding my lovely wife during wishes. its like the whole world is on hold while you are standing there enjoying the fireworks :lovestruc :lovestruc

My DH and I like to grab a hammock on the beach at the Polynesian. If you're willing to spend some money, get dessert to-go from the Kona Cafe first. A wonderful way to spend an evening, especially if Wishes is scheduled for that night...

Another romantic evening would be to stroll around Crescent Lake hand-in-hand. This area is absolutely beautiful at night with the lights from the Boardwalk and the Yacht Club. My DH and I try to do this every trip.

Whenever we watch fireworks, Dh and I just hold eachother. :cloud9: Usually I cry. Cant help it. haha. We also enjoy waiting until the crowds head out of the parks at the end of the day. We usually have a nice stroll leaving the empty park afterward. We love going to California Grill for dinner then watching wishes. At our resort we often just lay together on a hammock (there was one outside our building at CSR) and fall asleep. Just being in WDW for us is romantic.

DisneyJen is right for us just being in WDW is romantic. But we got engaged here Disneymooned here.
The most thoughtful thing my DH does for me while in Disney is on the first day he finds a special leaf and gives it to me and tells to hold on to it and carry it w/ my always and when I reach into my pocket and give it a little rub my wishes will come true.... They usually do too! We have been together for 14years and he knows what I'm thinking! Kind of corny to most put our little piece of Magic.
But for the most romantic thing to do in WDW hands down would be a "RING" HINT HINT HINT!!!

Theres a reason they call it the Romantic turndown package :p

This past trip, DF and I returned to our room (after a murky afternoon at MK) to a chilled bottle of champagne and some DELICIOUS chocolate truffles. We sat in our balcony with some music (provided by our trusty laptop) and just talked about anything and everything as we enjoyed our drinks. We ended up listening to a whole cd (Brian Wilson's SMiLE, maybe its not the most romantic, but its a personal fav) and finished the bottle. Afterwards, we got dressed and headed over to California Grill where we had a few more drinks, enjoyed the fireworks from the terrace and had a most delicious meal. When we returned to the room there was another surprise, cinderella's slipper! All of this will be in our review that we are still working on (with pictures)...but I just wanted to share! :3dglasses

Fireworks seem to be the center of many-a romantic setting. Our most romantic evening was a couple of years ago. Since we went to WDW with my folks, they watched the kids while we went to dinner at Narcoosee's (yes, I know I wasn't supposed to list something where you had to spend money, but. . .). While Narcoosee's was great, the best part was afterwards. . . we ate late (so it was dark when we finished) and as we were leaving the restaurant we first stumbled across the lighted water parade (sorry, can't think of the official name). We had never seen that before so that was a treat. Then, the fireworks at MK started so we wandered to the beach between the main building and the Wedding Pavilion. The beach was EMPTY. We found a beach lounge chair and had a perfect view of the fireworks -- just the two of us. It was SOOO romantic. We're going again for our anniversary (this time at Citricos), and we're planning on finding "our beach" again for some more fireworks.

My favorite thing is to take a moment in the Italian Pavillion of World showcase, buy a favorite dessert for the family (so the kids are happy too), buy my best girl and myself a bellini, sit, relax and absorb the magic! :sunny:
