What is, in your opinion (please share details), the most romantic signature resturant in the World? (has to be included in the DlxDP, to V&A is out LOL)

To me, romantic means not so many kids around, and I think for that your best choice is probably Bistro de Paris in the France Pavillion at Epcot. The Cali Grill has children literally everywhere. The Flying Fish had fewer children and excellent food, but wasn't what I would call intimate. Bistro has the least kid friendly menu of any of the places I've seen, I would think that would be a good bet.

All of the romantic restaurants are not on the dining plan (V&A, Bistro, Il Mulino).

On the dining plan, your best bet is Citricos, Jiko or Artist Point. They are a little less noisy than the others but no guarantee that you'll encounter a romantic environment.

V&A and Bistro de Paris are not on the DP but they do take TIW. DW and I ate our way through our last trip with ADR's at V&A, Bistro, Jiko's, Tutto Italia, Flying Fish & Crystal Palace all in the same week! Talking about a food fantasy! Just don't ask about my weight at the end of the week! :lmao: (TR link is below)

I'd say either Jiko or Artist Point. The food is better at Jiko, but AP might win on romance, in my experience it's usually a little quieter -- and the glimpse of the hotel, Bay Lake and rocky waterfall out the various windows is unbeatable. Jiko has view of a path that leads to a pool... not much there.

Citricos would my recommendation for a romantic signature on the DDP.

It's fairly low-key, easy to get an ADR for, and has a lot fewer children in it than Cali grill. It also has amazing food and service!

I'd go with Citricos, Artist Point, or Jikos--in that order.

My favorite signature is Flying Fish though, (but it's not romantic).:rotfl:

Citricos or Jiko (Have not been to AP yet but it looks like that would be an option too)

The later your dining reservation (8:00 or later) the less children will be at dinner so I would say the California Grill, Artist Point, BlueZoo, or Citricos.

A late dinner (after 8:30) at most signatures can be very intimate evening. DW and I enjoyed both CG and Narcoosees last June.

Citricos is about as close to "romantic" as you are going to get.

Jiko is nice inside, but there is usually a noisy mob just outside milling around waiting to get into Boma.

I vote Narcossee's as well. Not sure why this restaurant isn't more popular! My DH took a night off from the kids while there in October and had a date night and Narcossee's was wonderful! We had a later ressie...8:20 so there were almost no children and the boat ride there & waiting to be seated out on the porch was amazing. The room is dimly lit with candles on all the tables and we were seated waterside which you could request. Very intimate, very romatic and the food was amazing. We both had the surf & turf...

HIGHLY recommend! We are returning in August and we can't wait to book a ressie again for Narcossee's.

1) Gotta go along with Citricos (based upon your requirements).
2) DDP makes the previous romantic places more "common" due to
. . . more kids and more noisy kids
. . . kids who do not know how to act at finer eateries
. . . adults who do not know how to act at finer eateries
. . . guests who do not even know how to dress at finer eateries
3) Citricos is out of the way and *usually* goes against these tendencies.

The later your dining reservation (8:00 or later) the less children will be at dinner so I would say the California Grill, Artist Point, BlueZoo, or Citricos.

I'm going to disagree with the Cali Grill at 8:00pm, just because of the fireworks. I had an 8:40 reservation and there were literally children everywhere. They were crawling all over the seats in the lounge area where you wait to be seated in and running in circles in front of the wait staff. The dinner was still very, very good, but there were far more kids, and young kids, than I thought there would be that late.

I'd go with Jiko, as it is a darker and more intimate space, and in my experience quieter, than the other places about which you might be thinking. My wife and I went in May for our "date night" while our DDs were in the care of Kids' Nite Out, and had a lovely meal in a lovely setting.
