Most Romantic Park?

Since we are going to be at WDW for our 1st anniversary next year, I was wondering which park you all thought was the most romantic.

And which spots in said park are romantic?

Thanks :)

I'm sure most people will answer that MK is most romantic. After all, it does have the spectacular Cinderella castle. The only real romantic moment I can think of would be during the fireworks maybe. Otherwise it is really too crowded and loud anywhere in any of the parks at any time to consider it romantic. Some will disagree with me but even with the most elaborate decor dining inside the castle, the ambience can be ruined by the crowds and casualness of it.

If you want to get really romantic I suggest leaving the park and dining at the resorts for the real romantic moments. If you have the luxury, do not miss Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian. It is roughly $100 a person but a truly intimate experience you will never forget.

MK is lovely but I think you should think outside the parks for romantic moments.

The most romantic park to me is Epcot. Specifically around World Showcase. At night with the lighting and different music from each of the countries, it's sooooo romantic just strolling around. I think all of the parks at night have a romantic feel to them but Epcot is my favorite.

Also, in Future World there is a fountain that dances to music. It's so beautiful to sit and watch during the evening. :goodvibes

One spot that does come to mind is World Showcase. The dimmed lighting inside the Mexican pavilion makes that restaurant feel more romantic. Also, Alfredo's or Chef's de France would serve well.

How about a fireworks/Illuminations cruise one night?

Ask for a tour at the Grand Floridian of the wedding pavilion - we want to do this, so we can scope out where to renew our vows for our 15th anniversary!

Hope your 1st anniversary is very happy what ever you choose to do!

I would agree with this. Strolling around WS, especially at night, is lovely. There are some great places to sit around several of the pavillions (France and Italy especially) and several fountains which make this very romantic.

That being said, I would agree with others who have suggested that non-park places and restaurants are also very romantic.

Among the restaurants I would suggest V&A (of course), Jiko, Citrico's and Palio.

Also, the whole Epcot resort area is very romantic. Strolling around the lagoon at night and seeing all the hotels and stuff is very nice.

Another vote for the WS in EPCOT. Take a stroll around the whole lagoon just before Illuminations when all the torches are lit and the music is playing. Most of the people are crowded up along the lake edge so it is easy to stroll along unhindered. After, exit through the International Gateway and take the short walk over to the Boardwalk.

Of course, I'm going to steer you toward Animal Kingdom. Both the animal trails simply transport you to exotic locales. And it is non-charcter romance here, if that appeals to you.

Then take the bus back to AKL, and have dinner at Jiko. Then stroll around the Lodge, and have a glass of wine at Victoria Falls.

I was thinking about this, but I honestly don't know that much about it.

Can you book the cruises ahead of time?

I definitely agree. World Showcase is incredibly romantic. Nice dinner, Illuminations, culture, and beautiful music. MK is pretty romantic as well, but in a completely different way that i can't explain in words.
