I'm going with my boyfriend at the end of August to Disney World... we're going to see SpectroMagic, Wishes Nighttime, Fantasmic!, and Illuminations.

Which one would be the nicest one to see together on our last night?

I've had a romantic moment during Illuminations - but would love to for Wishes, as it's my very favorite. Tough decision!

Wishes, without a doubt. Although I go alone, so I'm probably not the best person to comment..... :sad2:

Illuminations on the breathless cruise with a nice bottle of champagne!

Well, he and I probably won't go on the cruise... but both Illuminations and Wishes sound AMAZING!

I don't know which one to choose!

did you make your reservations through Disney....

if you did and you like illiuinations then try and change to Pop Century.

You can see the higher fireworks from your room....

you would want a parking lot/lake view (must be both) on a higher floor in the 50's section....

the building is B on this map

How about eating at California Grill that night and watching Wishes either from inside the restaurant or on their balcony. Very romantic!

Oh, that sounds quite lovely! Where is the Cali Grill, and if we did go (since we're going on the DDP deal), does it count for one TS meal or two?

Thanks princess:

I believe that it requires 2 TS credits. It's a great restaurant! I've dined there twice. If you want to try to do it (if there are ADR's still available), request a time frame during Wishes. Here's a link to the menu (the food is really good!):

That will give you an idea of their food. They change the menu regularly, but things like the filet seem to always be on there. It's my favorite! :goodvibes Oh, and it's located in the Contemporary Resort (the one that the monorail goes through that's near Magic Kingdom).

Oh great, thank you!

Are there any table service restaurants worth one TS where you can see Wishes from?

Not sure if you can see Wishes from the restaurant or not, but this is what we did for my birthday last year:

We had dinner at 'Ohana and then watched Wishes from the Poly beach afterward. They pipe the music in and everything. It was an amazing view. Very romantic.

'Ohana - 1 TS :cool1:

but you can with the snack - Tomorrowland Terrace Noddle Station - I think
this is depend - main street and Tomorrowland.

Casey's Corner has outside tables that you can see it.

O'hana's in the firepit room... You should make your ressies for about an hour or 1 and a half hours before Wishes starts, when you get to O'hana's tell them you would like a seat the "Firepit" room.. They lower the lights and the music is piped in (the same music they play in the park), Very romantic and beautiful!!! Plus, the food is pretty good too!!! Have fun!!!

**We had ressies for 7:00pm and didn't get seated until 8pm, worked out perfect!! Didn't even know that we were going to get that nice treat!!!

Eat at California Grill.

Then watch the fireworks from the outside balcony. I personally think they're better viewed from ouy\t there than inside.

You will not regret it.

I would say Illuminations. They're all romantic but at Illuminations you have so many options of places to cuddle up and watch the fireworks. Last time we were there we were at the little covered seating area right beside the place in Norway to get the pretzels. It started pouring down raining but the show continued. There was hardly anyone under the area where we were except for a couple cuddled up together watching the fireworks eating those yummy pretzels and drinking coffee (and staying dry). They looked so happy. I'm hoping to sit there with my DBF on our upcoming trip. Hey, and maybe it'll rain... ;) Probably the only time I've wished for rain while at WDW.

We had a romantic night when we were coming to the MK from FW. It was a little rainy and there was no one out at the front of the boat and the fireworks started as we were coming to the MK. This was before WIshes but I think it would still work.
