Don't worry, having the limitations didn't bother us at all. The only ride where they actually scanned our room keys was Spiderman, but after one ride on it we went on it again but with single rider.

but you get out much earlier, right? In NY, we start back after Labor Day, but don't get out until the end of June.....

We get out very end of May. I went to school on a Labor Day-June calendar, and I preferred it that way.

Great news that the restrictions are going to be lifted after August 16th

Afterall I assume Universal have used these restrictions as a crowd pleasing measure. During the *peak* seasons I am pretty sure Universal must be unbearable for the people who are staying off site having to que in lines for 90 mins just for one attraction. I was there a few years ago and stayed off site and I only managed to go on about five attractions because of the terrible lines.

I feel it was the way Universal introduced these restrictions that angered so many people. If one makes a decision to stay at their hotels then one should have full knowledge about the restrictions in place & make a decision based on that info.
