So we want to do a lot of sharing on this trip. what places in the parks offer the most food for a decent price?

I know that Rancho del Zocalo and Plaza Inn offer good size portions for sharing. Who else?

The pasta and the salads at Redd Rocket's Pizza Port in Tomorrowland are huge!!

Redd Rocket's by Space Mountain.
We always split this. The Chicken Fusilli and a Caesar salad

Go to the Cove Bar in DCA, have some lobster nachos, DBF and I share a plate and have a hard time finishing. :)
Also at RFC we share the Maya Combo.

While my DH can eat a whole chicken sandwhich at White Water Snacks, we like to split it because half is plenty of food without feeling over stuffed.
It comes with roasted pepper and guacamole. Yum! The chicken is a good size, much larger than the chicken sandwhich at Taste Pilots. And they will cut it in half for you if you ask.

The Rainforest Cafe has pretty big portions as well.

Cafe Orleans, Rainforest Cafe and Tortilla Joe's. We eat at these on every trip and always share!

I'll second the Cove Bar in DCA, tho for the BBQ chicken pizza. Lucky Fortune in DCA will feed 2 or 3. The salads at Riverbelle Terrace look big. The Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans will feed 4.

The sandwiches at RBT are huge......I could have shared my turkey with DD14 (she was 13 at the time) and it would have been plenty. :)
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, portions are large enough to share for most entrees but we've never wanted to share. LOL

At Rainforest Cafe and Tortilla Jo's, DH and I will share their appetizer variety platter (I forgot the exact name of them in both restaurants). Totally filling :)

not in park but call pizza hut lol i had two stuffed crust for 10bucks each was perfect snack at nigth whole week

Pixie already mentioned this but, sandwiches at riverbell terrace are big enough to split and come with beans, choice of a side, and pickle spear. And the turkey sandwiches are really good because they use real carved turkey and not deli meat.

Also DH and I have split the 5 rib meal at taste pilot's grill a couple times. The funny thing is that both times they gave us 6 ribs instead of 5 for some reason. But even with 5 it would still be plenty.

Another one of our favorites is the BBQ chicken baked potato at Troubador Tavern (near PFF). We usually don't split this but i think it's one of the best bargains in the park. It's around $6-$7 for a huge potato that's covered in BBQ chicken. So i feel like i'm getting a full meal (chicken and potato) for a good price.

DBF and I have also shared the 5 rib meal at TPG. :) We don't do it often tho, we both love the Wild Bleu Yonder burger so we tend to get that instead. :)

For lunch Hubby & I split the wonderful nachos at whitewater snacks...to die for really really good

I had a salad at River Belle Terrace last week and couldn't even eat half of it! It was the steak salad, and I have to say it was really good (I am not usually very impressed with the food in the parks) and I was a little upset that I couldn't eat more, can't exactly take the rest to go when you aren't leaving the parks for 6 hours or more! Also, not so much for sharing, but the potatoes at Trubadour Tavern are a very filling meal for me, tasty and reasonably priced at about $6 each, sometimes it's cheaper than sharing for us.

We share at -

1. Plaza Inn - it says 3 pieces of chicken, but it's really half a chicken. We add a side salad and that makes it plenty for us.

2. Rancho - I can't remember what DH had, but it was good.

3. Cove Bar - Lobster nachos - if you're not a seafood fan, I think you can ask for chicken instead. :confused3

4. Taste Pilot's - DH gets the 3 ribs, DS 14 gets the 5 ribs and I get the full throttle fries. DS doesn't like cole slaw, so I eat his and DH and I share the fries and I eat one of the ribs. Works for us!

We've never tried the pasta at Redd Rocket's - it looks tasty, we may have to. DS 14 loves the pasta at Plaza Inn - but he is sooooo not willing to share. :lmao:

The sandwhiches (I think they are called tortas) are huge at Tortilla Joe's. One half is the size of my hand. Lovely to share those.

I also like to share breakfast with my daughter at the River Belle. I get a Steamboat and ask them to substitute the three pancakes for one Mickey pancake. They have always done that without a problem. She eats the pancake and I eat the rest. :)

We always make at least one stop at Cafe Orleans for an order of Pommes Frites and a Monte Cristo Sandwich to share every trip. On our last trip we got 2 orders of Pommes Frites and the Monte Cristo and added a salad and shared it between my wife and I and our 2 and 5 year old sons and it was plenty.
