Most on-site properties sold out for April '06?

I'm trying to get my BIL to take my Sis to DW next spring, and I've tried to price quote darn near every hotel on the DW site and every one I have checked have no availability... Why is DW so full next April, am I missing something

It might be too early and the rates are not released for that time period. To make sure, I would try and get a quote from a travel agent. At least it will confirm if rates are out for April 06

I have been trying for several months to book for May 2006. At some point during the process when trying to book online, there will be a note displayed indicating that you can only book online trips planned before December 2005, everything after that date must be done over the phone.

I just made my reservations today thru my TA. Apparently the vacation packages just came out. So my advice, try phone or TA.

that's correct...2006 can't be booked online yet. You can book over the phone or through a TA though.

I think that most Spring Breaks are in the month of April - that may be your problem. That is a very busy time for WDW, but like the previous poster suggested, you may do better talking to a "live person" on the telephone. Good luck!

Disney needs to get someone better to handle their websites... It should not allow me to select dates in April '06, and even select a hotel and then tell me there is no availability rather than saying you can't book that far in advance online.
