Most of all, I am SO glad I packed....?

For ladies - whatever your preferred feminine hygiene product is. Nothing was worse than the cruise I took where I was 100% sure it was not going to happen during our trip. Lo and behold nature had a different plan and I had to get supplies while we were in the middle of a bus tour in San Juan. I was incredibly embarrassed and had to buy what the little gift store had and then I had to deal with what the cruise line had available since I wasn't prepared at all.

:thumbsup2

Waterproof bag pouch for my phone like THIS Cheap solution for keeping the phone safe from water, sand and thieves and holds my ID and passport too. Now I leave my Gopro at home and have no need to buy a waterproof camera anymore.
Also a USB charging hub, now that most things I charge are based on USB I lug around almost this one charger exclusively for travel. Anything to help reduce the number of things I have to bring ;)
I also agree with a lot of other mentions here so I just list what has not been mentioned yet

My own laundry soap (can get a box for $1 at the dollar store that will do multiple loads, as opposed to the $1 per load box from the machine).

Tylenol/Ibuprophen/immodium

That's a great suggestion!

I always travel with young living essential oils and cotton balls. Thieves & purification to wipe everything down. Peppermint oil for motion sickness. Lavender for sleep. We do not put any oils on the pillows or sheets. We normally travel with a diffuser but I wasn't sure it would be allowed in our room, so I just put them on cotton balls around the room. Threw them away when we left.

My kindle! I drag it to the Rainforest Room (yep I'm the weirdo reading in the jacuzzi...), Castaway Cay, the verandah, etc.

Oh, and DH. He is good to have along as well.
I don't have an answer to this question yet. It has been some years since our last cruise and I am making my packing list now. I will answer in a couple weeks. What random item were you SO glad you packed and/ or really wished you Had packed?
Downy Wrinkle Releaser. Laundry rooms are super busy just like everything else onboard and waiting for a chance to use an iron is like trying to get a lounge chair near the family pools... better not to hold your breathe

an old "room key" from another cruise or hotel to insert in the light switch. I also have a magnet strip on the back so we just hang it on the wall as we leave. This is only on the Fantasy and the Dream for their weird light switches.

Cups with lids to take up to deck 11 and fill with soda, water, etc. Also to make my own root beer floats on deck.

my kindle (tink1970, you aren't the only one! LOL)

journal so I can keep track of what we did, what we liked/didn't like, etc.

all comments here are great would second the following:
- hamper
- usb hub
- air freshner for the bathroom
- night light
- plastic bags

in addition to that I would say
- the obvious travel documents including your online check in forms and blue book and passports
- flip flops
- safe sea for sea lice
- beach toys for non CC port beach days

OTC medications (the prices onboard are astronomical)
Behind-the-ear patches
Extra swimsuits
Plastic trash-bags for packing dirty laundry

Suction cup hooks
Clothes pins
Ziplock bags in various sizes
Drinks carrier from Starbucks for brining drinks back to the room from the beverage station (oh the looks of envy at the drinks machine...)

I have several random items I am so glad we brought, but I am most glad I brought a cheap pop-up hamper. It took up virtually no space in my luggage since it folds flat and it fit perfectly in the closet by the safe. I liked having dirty clothes all in one spot and it was very easy to just grab the hamper and bring the whole batch to the laundry room when it was full. I saw people in the halls carrying arms full of dirty clothes. I was very happy I had the hamper at that point.

Never heard of this. Might have to look into buying one.

I just happened to go to Dollar General near Port Canaveral just before embarking, my kids saw beach toys so I let them grab a few. I spent less than $10 for toys and a beach ball rather than the $50+ that I usually spend between Castaway Cay and the other ports. Plus I didnt feel pressured to bring it home since it was so cheap!

Plus those mesh collapsible laundry hampers.
