I know how much people loved Adventurer's Club but I just don't have that history. I was only there once or twice so never developed that connection. If it existed today, I'm sure I'd be a far bigger fan (I love Trader Sam's).
Mr. Toad was a fun dark ride but 20K was far more unique. The visuals were crap, even back then, but the whole experience was super cool.

There was never dancing there. There was, however talking masks on the wall that made fun of you.

Isn't it crazy that some people just have no idea about the glory that was The Adventurers Club. I feel terrible for them.

I feel bad for people who never got to experience Horizons. Aesthetically, it was like Spaceship Earth and Carosel of Progress in a strictly futuristic setting, and it was sooo awesome. I loved it so much.

It really wasn't a club - it was more like a really great version of dinner theater with animatronics and cool drinks and great humor - so fun with groups. Fortunately there is youtube:

I was lucky enough to do it twice. The show itself was fine, but the pre "show"/waiting area/bar was fun on its own.
Gawd, I miss Pleasure Island so much
Mannequins and Motion was my jam
