Most lbs Lost In A Week?

Hi. I am gradualy losing weight and was wandering what is the most amount of lbs have have lost in one week, and by no spaecial program or diet. I wish I could take one week and do like The Biggest Loser, and drop the lbs.
 
A lot of the larger amounts in one week really depend on how much you have to lose totally. Sometimes those larger losses especially in the beginning will be more water loss than actual healthy weight loss.

I'm thinking it takes a long time to get it on, and while we all want to shave it off quickly, a good idea is to make small goals and plan for healthy choices and increase in activity.

Don't look at things as the amounts you are losing; rather think in terms of making healthier choices. You will feel better as things start melting for you!

I lost 16 pounds my first week of my diet. Since then I have only lost about a pound per week. I needed to lose about 45-50 to get to my healthy weigt.
 

Most people tend to lose the largest amount of weight when they first start watching what they eat, but depending on what you do, it can continue, but really isn't healthy. With Weight Watchers they say it is okay to lose larger amounts the first three weeks on program, after that they say it is only healthy to lose 1-2 pounds a week. The most I ever lost in a week was 7 pounds and that was my first week on Weight Watchers. Typically I lost 1- 1.8 each week. Once in a blue moon I saw a 3 pound loss, but that was rare.
 
My first week was 3.1. I have since gotten a 2.8, but usually it is .6 or .8 a week
 
The first week of Weight Watchers I lost 4.4 pounds, second week 4 pounds. After that it was bascially 1-2 pounds a week but once in a while I would have a 3 pound loss but not often.
