Possibly going to book Disney Transportation "excursion" on our cruise when stopped at Port Canaveral, but we are not going to buy a park ticket as it's too expensive. The bus drops you at the TTC and we'd like to visit Disney Springs.

If we have time afterwards, what resort do you recommend we go to, just to look around? I'm thinking of going to one near the TTC as that will be our meeting spot back to catch the bus back to the ship.....so am thinking either Polynesian, Contemporary, or Grand Floridian. If it makes a difference, we're coming with our kids 14 and 10 years.

Those are the 3 resorts on the monorail which also stops at the ttc so you could actually visit all 3 very easily. And they all differ greatly in theming so would not be boring. The monorail resorts have some of the best restaurants.

Yes. We would stick to monorail resorts for easy return to the TTC. If just one, which would you suggest? Not sure how much spare time we'll have.

Oh gosh I don’t know. I love the industrial design of the contemporary. It’s impressive in person. Walking around the polynesian will transport you to the South Pacific. I would pick either one of those.

I would vote Poly as well. It's a 5 minute walk to TTC. If you want to take the monorail back to TTC, just keep in mind that it runs clockwise, and will stop at Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, and Contemporary before reaching TTC. This loop may take 30 minutes to complete due to security screening, crowding, and the occasional mid-way stalling.

You could pretty easily visit both Polynesian and Grand Floridian if you have the time. You can even walk to the Poly from the TCC and then walk to the Grand Floridian from the Poly. Both are really nice resorts to visit.

Thank you for pointing out. Really good to note. Guess the monorail is one-way?

Sounds like Polynesian is a winner...and can't go wrong with a Dole Whip.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The resort monorail essentially goes in a circle, so yes, it’s one way.

I vote Poly as well. I'd make sure to watch the time if you do try to walk to GF from Poly, it's a nice little hike.
