Most inexpensive month to fly?

Does anyone know when the most inexpensive month is to fly from the US to London? Trying to plan a trip but on a budget and the flight is the most expensive item right now as my friend has a place for us to stay and a car to use.

Hi Rhiansmum,
I'm not sure about flights originating from the US, but flights from the UK tend to be cheaper in 'off season' months like January, February, November. We can get some great deals from this end.

Generally January through early February and November through early December are the cheapest times to go.
