I will be staying for one night before our cruise in April 2005. We're just going to spend the afternoon and night at the resort so I want a really fun pool for the kids. I think I'm leaning towards a moderate resort so does anyone have suggestions?

I think the winner of the best WDW pool would have to be Storm Along Bay at Yacht and Beach Club. Among the moderates, POFQ has a cool sea serpent waterslide, and Coronado Springs pool has a big Mayan temple in the middle of it.

GlennandAnn are absolutely right about the pools. Though I did like the Polynesians pool as well but to me it was more relaxing and I dont know if kids would prefer that better or not. Definately POFQ if you go moderate for the pool. Only b/c both pools seem quite nice (Coronado and POFQ) but as a kid I can say that nothing beat that POFQ waterslide! :D Been to Disney 11 times all on site also so Ive seen quite a few of them

I've stayed at both CSR and POFQ. Both have great pools, but I think the overall setting is best at CSR. It is just an impressive setting, very nice pool and neat water slide. The serpent at POFQ is really neat too, but CSR I think has the best pool.

My personal, all time favorite is WL. The pool at all hours and the hot tub after midnight. Nothing more beautiful!

My girlfriend and I think we are part fish (we love to swim), so we picked yacht club for the storm along bay... but I think it is smart to just stay in a moderate for one night.. no sense in wasting money...
