Most Favorite and Least Favorite Character Breakfasts

Great idea- take a bus to AK and then from there get on the Beach Club bus.....Ak is usually open pretty early. I'd check the times for that park before you book. Would be great if they had EMH in the morning, then the busses would run really early. Then from Beach Club you can walk to EPCOT or take a bus to another park.

Thanks for pointing out that I missed something - I thought she was going to be at AK, but she is staying at AKL, so she can just take a bus directly to Epcot and walk through to Cape May as well.

I hadn't been to Crystal Palace for breakfast in a few years and went last week with friends. I was very surprised at how good the food was and the characters were awesome!

Just take a bus to Epcot, and then walk to World Showcase. Cape May is at the Beach Club which is across from Boardwalk, and attached to Epcot through the back of World Showcase - International Gateway. Basically, you'll enter Epcot, and then walk to World Showcase and exit the park through the International Gateway. The International Gateway is right after England, and before the bridge that gets you to France.

I would make the ADR for after Epcot's opening of 9:00 am, and then you should have no worries of walking through the park to Beach Club. They serve breakfast until 11:00, but when it's slow, like 2 weeks ago, we got a walk-up @ 11:20 as they had tons of fresh food left over (we had to cancel as we slept in, but then got the ressie back 2 hours later!)

It's a great buffet for characters, service and atmosphere. It's never crowded, and the food is pretty good.

Enjoy! Tiger :)

The fastest way, from any resort, is to take the bus to DHS and then either walk (15 minutes) or take the boat from DHS to YC/BC. It's much faster than walking through Epcot. The DHS bus and boat system starts running early in the morning so you can have early Cape May ADRs.

Favorite: Donald's Breakfast at Tusker
Least Favorite: Crystal Palace

We have done character meals before but the only place we've done a breakfast with the characters was Crystal Palace because we all love Winnie the Pooh and friends :O)

That`s a good idea too! Never thought of that, until now. We are always at Boardwalk when we eat at Cape May, so I had to think about it for a minute. Good idea!

Favorite character breakfast : Crystal Palace in MK
Least favorite character breakfast: Hollywood & Vine/DHS

non-buffet favorite: Kona Cafe Big Kahuna
non-character favorite buffet: Boma breakfast
least favorite non-character breakfast: resort food court platters (OK, but nothing special)

We are going to go to Cape May in Jan we will do a Bon Voyage Breakfast before our cruise on the Wonder.

For our favorite - 'Ohana by a landslide - we often eat there 2 times on a trip. I guess our least favorite character breakfast was Hollywood and Vine, but it was mostly because our kids weren't really interested in those characters.

Favorite; Crystal Palace for breakfast, 1900 Park Fare for dinner

Least favorite; Hollywood & Vine for Breakfast, Hollywood & Vine for dinner.

Over a 20 year span we've done at lot of character meals. Some I really liked but they do not have them anymore. One was at Artist Point.

Thank you, this sounds like the best way to get there!:thumbsup2

We were the same way and decided to try Crystal Palace for breakfast last time and we absolutely loved it! My son couldn't stop talking about it and we are going to go back next trip!

What about Garden Grill? I know it's a dinner, but has anyone liked it? I looove CP! We're going to do CP as well as try Cape May this time and maybe CRT.

Most Favorite Character Breakfast: Ohana's (I'm a huge Stitch fan)
Least Favorite Character Breakfast (for any character meal): Crystal Palace (food is wonderful but I am not a Pooh fan at all so I'm not paying for an overpriced buffet with characters I don't care for. I really wish they would change the characters around.)

My most favorite character meal of all time was the Villain's dinner at 1900 Park Faire, unfortunately that has been gone for many years. Also enjoyed the Warehouse Breakfast they had many years ago at the Studios but that one is long gone also. Of the other current breakfast ones I like Cape May & the AK one also although I haven't done it since they moved it to Tusker House.

What did you think of the food at Ohana's Character Breakfast? Was there enough variety worthy of a buffet price? I've looked at the menu and it looks O.K. Have seen some posters mention there was waffles and sweet bread? Have you had either of these? We love Stitch too and look forward to this breakfast. Food-wise, I have to convince my DH.

So far our favorite is Tusker House and our least favorite is 1900 park Fare. We were pretty disappointed by Chef Mickey's but we went there for dinner. We have ADR's for late breakfasts at Crystal Palace and Cape May for our next trip.
