most efficient way to get to Poly?

We have a 9:00 AM ADR at Poly. What is the most efficient way to get there (other than a taxi)? Many thanks!!

I would take a boat to either the Contemporary or Magic Kingdom and then transfer to the Resort Monorail for the Poly.

In case you miss a boat pulling out and have to wait for the next one, probably allow 45 minutes, could be less depending on how the boats are running and also missing a monorail and having to wait on the next one. That's a great route, nice boat ride and then to the future and beyond on the monorail.

boat > Contemp
monorail > Poly

If you have a car, that's definitely the quickest way.

Thanks so much for the info. No car, so we'll be relying on Disney to get us where we need to go. 45 minutes allowance? Jeepers - that's more than I was hoping to allow for. One of my frustrations at Disney is having to allow so long to get anywhere. That's the primary reason I can't ever see us with park hoppers; I'd get so grumpy with the transportation back and forth everywhere. But I digress. . .

Should we wait for the boat to Contemporary or hop on whichever boat comes first (Contemporary or MK)?

45 minutes seems about right now that I think about it. Boat ride is 15-20 minutes dock to dock regardless of destination. Then walk to next mode of transport, dock to Contemporary is a fair distance, MK dock is a little closer to the Monorail station. Then grab next monrail, add another 10 minutes at least for that.

Keep in mind, WDW is 43 square miles of fun! Most destinations point to point are usually an hour average.

I'll have a car there next week, will use it for someplaces, WDW transportation for others. Getting there is all part of the adventure.
