most convenient to Epcot or DTD???

Hi,

My next family trip isn't for over a year away, but I am *trying* to convince DH to go to Disney for a weekend in November, just to go to the Food & Wine festival at Epcot & to Downtown Disney at night. We've never been without the kids and I think this would be an awesome weekend getaway! (MIL has volunteered to watch the sweet ums for 2 nights/3 days).

Anyhow, I'm wondering where would be the best place for a couple traveling without kids to stay -- that would be most convenient to Epcot and/or Downtown Disney. Any suggestions?!

BWI or the Yacht club would be very romantic as well as convienent...
not only would it allow for easy access to Epcot (especially the Yacht club) You'd be right near the boardwalk...which has a few clubs and the ESPN club which I'm sure you'll DH would love...

If money is a little tight...then I recommend POR or even OKW...they both have a direct boat to DTD....

I don't think I'd recommend OKW if the money was tight. It can get a bit expensive there is you reserve your room through CRO. But I would recommend OKW as being very near DTD. In fact, you can walk, but it's a bit of a hike. The boat only runs for limited hours and if it's cold, it won't run at all. But you can always take a bus.
