So who would you pick (and why)? For me, it's a tough choice between Rachael Ray and Emeril Lagasse. But (and I'm sure this is no surprise to many of you) I have to go with The Mouth because at least Emeril can actually cook.

I agree completely. I can not stand Rachael Ray. She is the most annoying person ever.

Didn't you already start a thread about how much you dislike Rachel Ray?

Yeah, but this gives you fellow DIS-ers even more choice. And, besides, it's fun to bash her repeatedly! :)

Who's the one who always matches her outfit with kitchen decor dujour? I pick her.

Well, I had a party tonight and served a Rachael Ray recipe. Everyone loved it. The woman can cook, you might not light her television presence or overexposure, but she can cook. :)

Can I pick 3? Rachel Ray, Giada and Sandra Lee. I don't know if I can narrow it down. They all are annoying.

That would be Sandra Lee. I sometimes watch her (I guess I like the Tablescape section  ), but I never cook her recipes - too many preservatives.

Giada. Apparently she comes from a famous family. I find her annoying on that other show "Behind the Bash." Sometimes she doesn't look welcome in her interviews.

Paula Deen - I have to mute her. I can't stand her voice! Even worse than RR.

Sandra Lee is pretty obnoxious with her matching kitchen and outfit to her food.

Love Alton Brown.

Bobby Flay is a barely passable cook and an extremely poor sport. He shamed his country in Iron Chef, bigtime.

Ming Tsai is one of the biggest colonic exit gateways I've ever had the misfortune to come across. He's a bully and a demanding, pushy blowhard. The sigh of relief when he finally ceased gifting the Halekulani with the dubious honor of his presence was very, very audible all through the island.

Yeah. He does seem like a tool. Especially his appearance as guest judge on this season's Top Chef. But then I find most of the guest judges (along with Gail Simmons) to be a bit on the prickly side.

Love Anthony Bourdain, though!

Oh, yes, Paula was certainly in the running for my pick for most annoying! It's funny for me to see her interview Savannah locals on her show and hear little-to-no corn pone twang in their voices. Bogus? Never!

Emeril. Hands down. Fluffy annoying guy. I had to even mute those toothpaste commercials when he was on them.

I am also not a fan of Bobby Flay (arrogant...and why??), Mario Batale and the Barefoot Contessa.

I think Rachael Ray would be a little more tolerable if she'd sit on her hands.

I love Rachel Ray, although she can be a bit too perky on occassion.
I chose Emeril, I find him to be pretentious and annoying. No one can follow the recipes he is doing, so its just one long ad for his cookbooks.

Now Sandra Lee, was such a close second. She is half-baked isn't she? Her ideas are nuts. Like anyone that can afford to buy the stuff she "just picked up" at the local hardware store or craft store. Man, if anyone had that kind of money, they wouldn't waste it on her ideas. And those kids she keeps bringing out....yikes, enough already.
