Hi all! We're leaving soon now- Halloween night! Should we bring lots of mosquito repellnt? Are there a lot of them this time of year.I have mosquito netting for the stroller- Ill just need to get some OFF. TIA.

as far as I knew there are not many mosquitos there at all anytime.
Florida has those weird bugs that attach top eachother. They were harmless but were EVERYWHERE.

Didnt get bit by any mosquitos in August. So i'd say dont bother bringing lots cause those other things dont sting

On the contrary there have been a lot of posts in the past few days from people just getting back saying they are getting eaten by the mosquitos. I had the same question but it got lost somewhere. We are arriving 10/30. So if anyone knows how much longer the mosquito season tends to go-- it would be great.

We were bitten by lots of mosquitos in July this year...the first time we'd ever even seen them at WDW. Last weekend we didn't have any problems, but we were only there a couple days. It never hurts to get some Bite Blocker and have it with you...we plan to bring it along just in case when we head back in a couple weeks.

I don't remember mosquitos being much of an issue last Nov other than when we watched the EWP and MK Fireworks from the Poly. They were really heavy then. They usually don't bother me much but I was constantly swatting, and the kids got lots of bites. I'd take some spray and be prepared.

Well in all my years of going to WDW, at various times of the year I never remeber getting one sketter bite, but this year, holy smokes we were eaten alive.

We just got back and our legs, arms and necks are covered in bites and that was with deet repellent. They weren't bad in the day but once dusk rolled around look out. I have an area on my upper arm that has 13 bites in maybe a 3 inch area.

They also are not like our misquitos here in WI, these ones you don't even feel biting you. At first I thought maybe we were hitting no see'ems or something else, but I did catch one trying to feed off me and it was a skeeter.

This also was the first year that they warned us at check-in about them and there was a letter on our room table as well talking about the skeeters.

I strongly suggest bring bug repellent and anti-itch stuff like sting ease or something simular.

I was there last week, got home Monday and I'm still itchy! I used Avon Bug Guard and it seemed to work until MNSSHP on Sunday night. They are all over my legs, I even have a couple on my fingers, arms aren't too bad. I didn't feel them either when they were biting, it started itching the next day. I heard they are bad because they had a wet summer.

We have been three times in Novemeber and have never had a problem with mosquitos. However I've been reading many posts from people just returning complaining of all their bites. Since we are going a little earlier this year last week on Oct. into November I will be bringing the repellant spray this year!!!!!
