I know that Florida is pretty much warm all year round, so my question is this....are there pretty much mosquito's year round, or is there a "mosquito season"? If so, when is it?

Ahhh! The eternal question - mozies are known year round in sub-tropical climates - but if it's anything like the rest of the area - october is a nasty month. It does depend on the amount of rain! If you have heavy rain and then about a week, 2 weeks of sun -you can count of those mozies appearing.

it's mosquito season here at the moment.

Dry, low humidity, cool weather - not so many mosquitos.

PS the sun came out here in bermuda today - first time in about 10 days!

From what I understand, Disney does an excellent job of spraying. We go to WDW every year the last week of Oct. and have never had a problem.

I would agree, it never seems to be a problem for me, and I have been there during seveal different months (see below), although not during Nov.

have never had a problem with the blood suckers at any of the parks. I get eaten alive at the campground though, no matter what time of year i am there.

Take some bug spay along for any resort lounging you will be doing, but you certainly don't have to tote it around with you to the parks or goop up with it before you leave each morining.

I may be the exception to the rule, but I was there last week and got multiple bites the first day we were there at Epcot and MK (MNSSHP). I noticed that I had a much greater problem near areas with a lot of bushes or plants. After that, I used bug repellent before going to the parks and didn't have any further problem. Funny thing, though, I forgot to use it on our last day at Animal Kingdom and I thought with all the trees and plants there I would have a terrible time. I didn't get a single bite!

Of course, I must have very tasty blood, 'cause the little monsters will travel miles to get a taste. If you're the sort of person who doesn't usually have a problem with them, you may be OK.

We were at the same MNSSHP as Mowsie dreamer and I got eaten alive.. More so at the Dis meet by the Haunted Mansion and then it continued all night long..
