I ate at one in Boca Raton and while the steaks were very good, I felt the meal was way overpriced. I believe everything was ala carte which contributed to the inflated pricing. While I enjoy prompt service and attention from a waitperson, I almost felt like our waiter was the third wheel on our date. He was always coming by to remove the bread crumbs from our table and clear dishes that we barely used.
I would rather dine at Ruth Chris or Sam Seltzers for a very nice meal.
I've eaten there, but I don't know how much it cost, as someone else was paying. I think it runs around $100/person, more if you're ordering expensive wines.
I much prefer Del Frisco. Same idea, same price range, better food, at least to my palate.
We love Mortons but only go for special occassions because of the price. I think it usually runs us about $150 or so with a glass or two of wine for me. Definately split the sides, they are pretty big but they don't tell you that when you are ordering. Highly recommend the chocolate lava cake for dessert. I don't remember the exact name of it but you have to order it when you order your entrees because they bake it fresh for you. It is unbelieveably good and more than big enough to split.
Enjoy your dinner!
