mortgage, separations, soon to be ex

I have been separated for a year now. Between me and ex we have acquire to major properties IMO. At the time of our purchase of our townhouse it was placed under her name due to availability of credit (mine sucked that time) and also years later we got DVC again under her name. We were never married. Now my question is if there is anybody out there who have any idea on how to transfer these properties to me the best easiest way. Any suggestion on where I should start would be beneficial. She dont have any problem transfering it to me since she had move on with another and have started a new life.

To transfer the properties to your name, she would need to a deed prepared transfering title to you. You would need to meet with an attorney for that. However, if there are existing mortgages to the property that are in her name only, she will need to speak with her lender before transferring title to the property to find out what their policies and penalties are for that.
