Morocco for DP

Hello!

We recently exceeded the ten people limit for the Japan Terrace location for our Illuminations DP. While I would like to be given other location options, I'm not really being offered a choice apart from Morocco.

Does anyone have any pictures or experiences they can share about Morocco?

Thought I'd join in as I'm curious about Morocco as well! It seems for smaller groups all they want to give up is Japan or Morocco!

Is that area roped off? Or are you further up like with Japan?

Does anyone know if there is seating at Morocco? I was told Japan was standing only (ick...).

I can't give you any more information. That was just one of the photos (Morocco & Japan) that she sent me when we were considering a dessert party for our vow renewal. We ended up not doing it. I think the only seating at Morocco would be the benches that you see in the picture.

You are welcome.

Morocco is actually pretty private because of the large above ground garden separating it from the public walkway. In addition in the garden there are trees so the public typically would not be standing there to watch the fireworks.

Wow - it's been a long time since I started this thread!

Our dessert party is next Saturday and Taz will be photographing our DP in Morocco. I will make sure to post some pics!

AH-HA!! Now I know why I got bumped UP to the UK for my dessert party on the 20th!!

THANK YOU!! We were booked at Morocco on Sat. for a DP as a pre-wedding event for my guests, but then was informed a few weeks ago by my coordinator that we had been bumped because they needed Morocco for someone else. Now I know who it is!!

And I don't have any pics, but we checked out Morocco's viewing area when we went down to Disney in November (when we were still going to be having our DP there!) and really, really liked it. It was private, but had a great view of the water and the other countries. And even though you can't have any chairs/seating areas, there is a built-in wall that looked perfect for sitting.

Anyway, I hope you have a WONDERFUL dessert party and an amazing wedding!! Maybe we'll see you around the parks! We're getting married on Monday, Jan. 22 at Sea Breeze Point at 2:30. How long will you be at Disney?? Best of luck, Starseed!!
