We will be at DLR Sat Jan 24th afternoon thru Tues 27th, so our available mornings are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I'm trying to decide which day to visit CA in the morning. Both Sun and Mon are EMH days and Tues I had planned to use MM at DL. I would assume Sunday should be busier, but monday's open is not until 10 which should bring higher numbers at opening.

After a EMH, what is the best strategy for TSMM and RSR FP...are the lines really long by the official opening? And even trying to figure in Frozen gives me a headache!:headache:

Hopefully things will slow down over the next week! Any thoughts and strategies would be greatly appreciated!

Mornings are generally fairly quiet this time of year, even on the weekends. When I've gone, I've noticed that the crowds ramp up around noon(ish), but you can still get a fair amount done if you get there at opening (even if the parks open at 10:00 am).

RSR FPs are not distributed until the park opens to everyone and they no longer allow guests to line up before opening. So, in that way, the EMH probably won't have a huge impact on your ability to get an RSR FPs. With the RSR FPs being connected and no line pre-opening, FPs do seem to be lasting longer into the day. I'd still aim to be there within the first 90 minutes to two hours of the day, but I don't think it's as critical to go there as soon as the park opens anymore.

TSMM is a bit tougher on an EMH morning. Yes, the line will already be long by the time the park opens to everyone. I would allow about 45 minutes for TSMM if you go right at opening, after an EMH. Unfortunately, unless you go on a non-EMH morning, there is really no way to avoid a line at TSMM.

I will add that we did TSMM one evening when WOC was just about to start and only had maybe a 20min wait, and we went in the summer so that saved us from having to stand in the sun too!! Which we ended up riding it like 3 or 4 times our trip but that was our first time
