Morning Parades?

Are the times really correct for the Parade hours? I can't believe that they have a 3pm, 9pm, and sometimes a 10pm parade and NO morning parade at MK. Is that right??

BTW this is for the month of May and the info is on the wdwinfo page.

Think of it from a crowd standpoint. In the morning is when everyone is coming INTO the parks. The main walkways -- Main Street, Hollywood Blvd -- are packed with people trying to get into the parks and to their favorite rides. By mid-afternoon, the crowds are disbursed throughout the park and it's easier to clear the street and send a parade down it. Can you imagine trying to do a 10am parade at MK? The park opens at 9am and Main Street is jammed. Can you imagine having to move all those people (and all the people still coming in in droves) so that a parade can run?

Hold on there, DISSERs.

There HAVE been morning MK parades (and very recently.)

The "Family Fun Day Parades."

They ran mornings and early afternoons (multiple times per day) for the last couple of years.
They just stopped them near the end of 2008.

There will be a new version starting soon, if not already.

Already started. The "Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party" runs daily on Main Street at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It also runs in the afternoon at either 5:15 p.m. or 5:45 p.m., depending on the day.
