What are the chances of Minnie Vans being available early morning to rope drop a park? We have used them lots of other times but never early morning. Wondering what the wait times look like. We will be at ;fort Wilderness cabins.

Decent, they surge them during that time and I have found them easier to get than during park close. I would aim to order 45-60 mins before you want to be there (60-90 mins if you need accessible though, those are harder to acquire). You can pretend to order them on the Lyft app and see current waits, so if you want prior to your trip you could kinda track them to get an idea of what you might be looking at.

First time I wanted to request a Minnie Van (and first time using Lyft app), I found you need to be careful since it is VERY easy to request a ride without realizing it and there is no way to cancel. With any other online website, there is always a 'confirmation' screen when placing an order. Maybe it has changed, but when I used it for the first time, I initiated a request when all I was trying to do was learn how to navigate the screens.

You can definitely cancel them in the app after ordering. Nobody should let fear of accidentally ordering one stop them from checking availability/prices, as long as they take it slow they shouldn’t accidentally order one and if they do they just cancel ride immediately and they won’t even have a penalty.

Perhaps they have modified the app since I first used it a few years ago. Back then you definitely could NOT cancel a ride request and it created the request without ever asking if you wanted to complete the process which I found very deceptive. I was trying to see how the app worked before making a real request later that day. I managed to find a phone number to call and explained the problem. Person on the phone was very helpful and said once you make a ride request you could NOT cancel it online. However, they agreed to cancel my request and not charge me for it.

with the Minnie vans can't they drop you off in different areas that normal Lyft drivers?

If I remember right, Minnie vans are better (better drop off areas) for MK and AK - then for EPCOT and HS Lyft drops are in a reasonable location?

For AK, I think the Lyft drop off seems a bit closer than the MV one - at the very least, it’s a toss up which is closer. MK is the only one where it’s a significant difference.

For EPCOT MV can drop off AT BC or Boardwalk if you want to rope drop via IG entrance

Yes, we do MV drop off at BC quite often when we’re not staying at a BW property no matter what time we’re headed to the park. Since they built the new rideshare area at the front of Epcot, there’s really not a whole lot of difference between the rideshare vs MV/bus drop off, but MV probably has a slight advantage.

Where does MV pick you up from at HS?
In the bus loop, close-ish to the regular Lyft/Uber slot. I haven’t taken a MV to HS in six months, but that’s where it’s been in my past experience.
