Morning Magic Hours

I have a BOG breakfast for 8:00 on a morning with Morning Magic hours (not EMH). We are not doing Morning Magic hours. Does anyone have any experience with SDMT wait times at 9:00 on mornings with Morning Magic hours. We were hoping to eat breakfast and then head over to SDMT with little wait since the park wast to open at 9 when we booked the breakfast but it will now have people in at 8 due to morning magic hours. Any info would be appreciated.

Mind if I ask the date? Disney recently cancelled some upcoming Early Monring Magic (EMM) dates this fall (presumably to move park openings to 8am) so just making sure it's not your date.

On an EMM morning, you can get in line for 7DMT (along with the other guests coming from BOG) but they will not let you ride until right around 9am. You will still beat the large rope drop crowd as you'll be in line before they ever get there, you just don't get any pre-9am ride advantage on an EMM morning.

EMM is a very small amount of people. They have no impact on general park plans. They’ll be able to ride 7DMT until precisely 9 a.m. then scatter elsewhere in the park.

You should still be able to ride before the rope drop crowd arrives.

Oct.2nd I just looked ar Disney sight and it still has a ticketed event that am.
