Hi everyone,
I've really missed you all this weekend but between the England game, and hosting my little boy's birthday party, as well as two other parties to attend on Saturday, I haven't had a minute to check in with you all. What did you all get up to this weekend? Did you enjoy the weather? Football? BBQ?
Let me know,
Claire xx

Enjoyed the weather on Saturday. Yesterday I went for a meal with my friends and then to the cinema.

Glad you had a good weekend Claire.

Missed going to the Elton John concert on Saturday as I was being sick all day, which left me feeling yucky yesterday as well, so a horrible weekend here. DH went to the concert so we wouldn't have completely wasted £150!!!

My weekend was thoroughly enjoyable!

On Saturday morning I went into town to post my postcard exchange envelopes and buy a few bits and bobs, then I went home and chilled and sorted out the laundry and tidied up a bit. Later on, about 4 I was bored so I text my friend Sam to see if she fancied a trip to Asda cos my cupboards were as good as bare and she said yeh, then we decided we were gonna go back to hers for dinner and she ended up cooking us both a full roast at like 10 at night hehehe

So enjoyed that one.

Yesterday I just had a really leisurely day, finished off the laundry and finally finished sorting my room out (only moved a week and a half ago)...and then watched the game whilst scoffing a prawn salad, all washed down with a glass of juice!!

Finished my book about midnight, and then hit the sack :-)

Both boys were grading at karate on Saturday morning, Disboards Saturday afternoon, work Saturday evening.
Sunday morning park to play footie and golf practice. Afternoon Ashley's golf lesson, Sunday evening work!!!
I must be the only person to prefer weekdays cos I don't work then (apart from housework and typing on here)

Sorry about the concert Gill :guilty: Hope you're feeling a bit better today,
Claire xx

Much better thank you. Sounds as though your w/e was busy. Time to relax now the children are in school!

I've had lovely weekend, thank you Claire. We went to the Bull Ring (Birmingham) Saturday morning and yesterday we went to Warwick Races, we had a great time ~ but I didn't win a sausage :)

Glad you had a good weekend too

Had a great weekend thanks. We spent the weekend in Edinburgh where my friend and I did the Moonwalk marathon for breast cancer. The atmosphere was brilliant and we completed it in good time.

My weekend was ok.

Saturday my dh and kids went to my mil. Dh and I cleaned our car from hoovering, washing and polishing the car. Whilst the kids were playing with nanny and gd. I came home cooked a roast before starting work at 8:00pm. It was a busy night on the ward. When I came home at 8:30am I went straight to bed. I got up at 2:00pm to have a bath as we were due to go round our friends for a bbq and watch the match. Had a great time watching David Beckham play footie and win us the match. We came home and just chilled on the sofa while the kids were a sleep.

Claire, sounds like you had a busy weekend. Pleased the party went well. What games did you play in the end?

Gilld, Oh I feel for you it must of been so dissapointing. :grouphug:

I worked all day saturday and after fending off very stroppy customers who kept threatening to sue me decided to stay in saturday night, but got up bright and early for sunday morning went shopping bought lots of levely new things and then home just in time for the football! Yay England :woohoo: then Callum came home and I had lovely cuddles as I didn't see a lot of him last week what with Ascot and all.

I had a busy weekend. Myself, DH and FIL went to the Rugby on Friday night and we won :cool1: I worked all day Saturday and went to a party on saturday evening. Sunday we spent all day packing the house up, sat down just in time for the football :)

Glad you had a good weekend Claire :)

We went to the Queens Birthday Party at the City library and then a friends daughters birthday party in the afternoon. Sunday we did a bit of shopping :)
