Morning FEA Fastpasses?

Hi everyone! I'm thinking ahead for my December trip. I seem to remember that when FEA first opened (and for some time after), there were no fastpasses available in the morning (until 11am, I think?). The morning was dedicated to standby. Is that still the case? If so, is 11am the earliest you can get? Thanks!

I can't remember exactly when Disney made the change, but FP is now available starting from park opening, not 11am.

When we were just there, the CM said the FPs start at same time as all others.
