August 16-22. We usually attend the evening EMH but really haven't attended the morning EMH.

Crowds will probably be somewhat heavy during that week. Some schools will still be on Summer break and others will be back to school. I would definately take advantage of morning EMH!

Early hours are soooo worth it but we always have hoppers so we can go to another park if it gets too crowded

Morning EMH are WAY less crowded than Evening, specially at MGM.
Unless you are going in the beginning of October, say from Oct 6 to 10, then you should really avoid them at all cost...

Ditto! EMH mornings are great! EMH evenings are terrible! I avoid those at all costs!!

Do you know when most Florida students go back to school?

I don't live in Florida, but I've heard on other threads from Florida residents that most (not all) florida students go back early this year. Maybe the first week of August? Maybe a Florida resident can comment?

You will still get out of state residents who are not in school yet that visit. That will drive up the attendance.

Evening EMH is jammed packed. Morning is the best time to go to get on attractions two or three times in a row.

FL schools start later this year. We cannot start earlier than two weeks before Labor Day. I know several counties that start on the 20th.
