Morning Everyone! Question about whether we can do other things during a quest

Hi everyone!

We are stuck on the Jungle Cruise part of the Space Quest, and I want to be able to do other things for awhile, like find a room for my daughter so she can do some decorating.

Does the Quest just stay where it is forever, until I can go back and score enough points? Or, will not going back to the Jungle Cruise mess up the quest?

Unless there is s time limit on the task you are currently on, you can let it sit there forever (or until the quest is closed by the operator).
If there is a time limit on the task, then you need to do that task or you will be set back 3 steps.

So if there is no time set to finish the game, then go ahead and do wahtever you want.

I think as long as the time is unlimited you can do other things as well. I am stuck at the haunted part of the autopia green quest. I last time I tryed to make the 85 ghosts was monday. And yesterday I looked at it and it is still there waiting that I catch the ghosts.

BUT!!! You can not make other quests for this time your are in that quests.

If you want to do other quests (such as personal ones), you can always quit the quest and come back to it later.
I've found that quests that I've clicked on quit, when I go back to do it, it will pick up right where I left off.

This is exactly the way to go. If you want to do other quests. You simply quit the one you are on and you can do whatever,, other vmk quests or player quests. If you are ready to finish or start back on the quest simply go to the kiosk where that quest begins and as long as VMK has not reset the quest you can restart from where you left off. Be aware of two things, I have done this and not been prepaired to start the task ie. Bat magic wrong room, long room, loading times, etc. and then got the boot back a few tasks after the refresher on what I should have been ready to do. So when you quit you might want to note what you were on and what you needed and where you should be when you restart.
