Hi, i'm new here (long time lurcher). Our family leaves on our trip to WDW in one week and we still haven't figured out quite what we are doing each day. I''ve searched through the forums and can't find the answer to my question.
How are the Morning EMH? I've heard how bad the Evening ones are and I think we will avoid them. But how are the morning ones? My theory is more people are night owls then morning people. I would like to use the EMH at least once. (Or once my mom will say, why did we spend so much money to stay onsite if we don't benefit from it) So are the Mornings good or bad? Are any evening ones good? I want to try and finalize our plans.

Thanks for all your help and if this has been answered before I'm sorry for my redudancy!

Jenny

Welcome! Morning EMH's are well worth it in my opinion (evening are not). First of all, you get one more hour of "cooler" temps in the summer. Second, they are not as crowded and you really get to enjoy a few favorites before the masses arrive.

We usually get there, get in at 8:00, ride our favorites, then have a late character breakfast about 10:30. We do some light shopping then head back to the resort for a swim and either go back to the same park after 4:00 or hit another park for the evening. We no longer spend a whole day in a park. It's just too much (except AK, we usually stay until after the parade). With morning EMH, we get an extra hour and we really can get a lot in during that time.

Have fun!

My experience with the early entry park has been great! If your family can get up that early that is. Some folks just can't or don't get up that early on vacation. Remember to use fast pass, too. You can always hop to another park if your tickets have that feature. Good luck and have fun!

They are the best way to do the attractions you want to do most. Hit Dumbo first and skip the long line. Hop over to Pooh and pick up some fastpasses. Ride Pooh, then use your FP. Or head over to Peter Pan and get that Pooh FP. You can knock out a bunch of favorites that have long lines as the day wears on.

I always head to Buzz, get the fast passes for the three of us (while they do Space Mt, maybe two times). I ride Buzz two or three times. Then we meet up and do Buzz together.

EMH are great IF you are a family of early risers. I am typically up early and do enjoy getting to the parks before everyone else. However, for those that aren't early risers the early start usually catches up with them mid-day and they just can't keep going. (At least not while enjoying themselves)

Usually we do a few EMH and skip a few. My advice would be to skip the EMH park if you are not doing EMH.

As of right now, the plan is to do 2 Early Magic Hours. One at MK, and one at MGM. They are right at the beginning of the trip. I hope it works!
