Hey there,
Does anyone know if it is possible to fly in the night before and stay at a cheapie offsite but close to WDW hotel that night and then check in like 7am and be able to make it to 8am EMH at a park that same day?

Thanks.

Interesting question. From what I've read around here the computer systems flip over at 6AM everyday - from that point on you're a guest of the WDW resort, no matter when you check in later that day. I think in theory what you're saying will work, but don't have first hand experience. I'm curious to know too!

I think that would work. For our last couple of trips we've flown into MCO the night before our resort check-in and spent the night at the MCO Hyatt. Then we have a car service pick us up at 7:00am the next day and we arrive at the resort around 7:30am to check in. We don't go to a park that day - we just relax at the resort pool - but our MB are active and we use them to gain access to the pool and charge food to the room.

Yes, you become a guest of the resort you are checking in to as of 6 AM. Once you are a guest, you can use EMH

We've done it last trip. We stayed over at Sheraton by Disney Springs and drove over to Yacht Club to drop our luggage off at 6:30. We were in the bus stop by 7am with others to get to MK EMH.

I just want to say I love this level of commitment! Love it! :thumbsup2

It was our rather short trip (only 6 park days) so had to utilize all we could!! :rolleyes1 We usually stay for 8~14days but lately, that's all we could get so we try to maximize!
I am planning 2.5 days in the parks before a 4 night dream cruise but right now Friday is MK EMH so I thought maybe we'd fly out late Thursday instead of super early Friday. so yes maximizing precious park hours!

Go for it! I was little tired after lunch that day, so came back to the resort and took a nap and the park as getting crowded anyways. Afterwards, we headed out for dinner and enjoy the park again at night. In fact, we are doing something similar this coming trip in three weeks. We are checking into Dolphin super early like 6~7am before we hit AK EMH and than going to rest the afternoon before we hit DHS at night. With DS's activities, he cannot skip two weekends in a row (during Sept~June) or he will be taken out of the program all together, so we are now stuck with max. 7 days including traveling days. So we try to maximize park days by traveling late night after school, stay somewhere in Orlando with SPG points for free and than drive into the Disney resort super early for extra time.
