Morning EMH at MK-Rope Drop?

I haven't done morning EMH at MK since the new opening show began. Does EMH work like regular days with everyone held in front of the castle?

9:00AM Reg. Hours Open Time:

Gates opened (and Main Street opened) at 8:00AM.

Some shops on Main Street will be open to guests.

MK Opening Show (on stage in front of Castle) at 8:55AM.

Rope Drops/All Rides Open at 9:00AM.



9:00AM Reg. Hours Open Time with 8:00 AM EMH:

Gates opened (and Main Street opened) about 7:50AM.

Some shops on Main Street will be open to guests.

MK Opening Show (on stage in front of Castle) at 7:55AM.

At 8:00AM, WDW Resort Guests can enter Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and ride attractions.

NON-WDW Resort Guests arriving at MK parking/TTC will likely be held there until closer to 8:30.

NON-WDW Resort Guests are held on Main St. and Hub until 9:00AM.

Thanks, a couple questions:

Are guests not eligible for EMH also let onto Main St at 7:50?

If so, how do the CMs check, do they scan your MB again?

I'm trying to figure out how early I should arrive.

I didn't realize they still did the opening show on EMH mornings for resort guests! I told DH that I didn't think there would be an opening show before EMH began (this is our first time staying on resort) and he was not a happy camper! He will like that!

3. You didn't say if you are a WDW resort guest or not.
(If NOT, it is generally considered to be a poor plan to go to an AM EMH park, at least in the morning.)

Thanks, I'm onsite. I'm an early riser would like to be near the front. My plan is to head to Tomorrowland first thing then over to Splash and Big Thunder at regular open. My FPs that day are in the AK. I'm doing EMM for the Fantasyland attractions so no need to hit those during EMH.

Sounds good.

I would take WDW Transportation to MK.
(Driving to MK AM EMH can be especially problematic.)
Be at the resort bus stop by 45-60 min. before the AM EMH opening time.

So you can now enter the park BEFORE the opening show to wait for RD?? When did that start?
